Here are two of our early projects
La Mirada, California UPS Hub
The UPS Hub in La Mirada, California, represents a large-scale and time-sensitive operation.
A key aspect of this project is the installation of rigid conduit, a critical component for the facility's electrical infrastructure. The scope of the project is extensive, encompassing the integration of around 550 motors, which play a vital role in the hub's parcel processing capabilities. To meet the demands of the compressed schedule, a substantial workforce of 160 electricians has been employed. This high number of skilled workers is essential to ensure timely completion while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The project highlights the complex logistical and technical challenges faced in modern industrial operations, where efficiency and rapid execution are paramount.
Rialto Fed Ex Ground Hub
The FedEx Ground Hub in Rialto represents a complex and adaptive installation project, which was characterized by its focus on flexibility and operational adjustments.
This project, spanning two years from June 2017 to June 2019, involved the installation of rigid conduit, a vital component for the hub's electrical system. The longevity of the project necessitated its integration with ongoing operations at the hub. This required the leadership team to be adept at working in tandem with operational needs, frequently adjusting their strategies to allow for continuous hub functionality.
Significant enhancements were made during this period. The hub extended four sorters, added a new load wing and an unload wing, and introduced two primary sorters. These expansions and additions were critical in increasing the hub's sorting and processing capacities. Additionally, there were numerous modifications to the control systems across various locations within the building. These changes were instrumental in optimizing the hub's efficiency and adaptability, showcasing the leadership's ability to effectively manage a dynamic and complex industrial environment while maintaining operational continuity.
